Hey guys -- just wanted to let you know that I just launched do{block} version 0.7.2 after spending quite some time in the 0.6.x branch.

\n\n

You'll now have the abilities to watch individual topics and, at the moment, get updates on those articles. This stems from a new favorites system that I've built into do{block}, which will eventually be extended to allow favoriting of:

\n\n
    \n
  • articles
  • \n
  • users
  • \n
  • comments
  • \n
  • links (when these are implemented)
  • \n
\n\n\n

And a whole bunch of other stuff. Go ahead and play around with it let me know what you think. I'm completely open to suggestions in terms of features for the new development cycle. At the moment I'm thinking:

\n\n
    \n
  • a pingback/trackback engine
  • \n
  • a Link model that can be searched through individually or attached to articles
  • \n
  • a messaging system for in-site communication with other users
  • \n
  • a bug tracking/feature request system
  • \n
\n\n\n

These are just some ideas, so feel free to contribute some. Also, thanks again to yes and jeroen for pointing out some bugs in the production environment.

\n\n

Enjoy.
